Ratio Θ_RS/Θ_TGA between the time per realization of a single simulation using rejection sampling and the temporal Gillespie algorithm on empirical face-to-face contact networks in different social settings (Table 1): (A) for a SIR process, without (TGA) and with (TGA + CR) contact removal; (B) for a SIS process.
