<p>Detailed description of the methods, including a model for <i>Z</i>, regularization of the sample covariance matrix, the beta-binomial approximation, pre-computation for the ADELLE test, assessment of type 1 error with Monte Carlo p-values, and generation of the correlation matrix for simulations.
