We found several new effects of BCAA and mTOR signaling on HCC cells in this study.

By contrast, mTORC2 maintains cancer stemness. However, mTORC1 inhibits mTORC2. BCAA suppresses cancer stemness by activation of mTORC1, and enhances antitumor effects of chemotherapy agents.
