Time-dependent SDS-PAGE analysis of Sarkosyl-insoluble pathological human SOD1 mutant A4V (A and B) and hen egg white lysozyme (C and D) incubated in 0 g/l (A and C) and 100 g/l dextran 70 (B) or 200 g/l Ficoll 70 (D).

Samples were taken and incubated with 10 mM NaH₂PO₄-Na₂HPO₄ buffer containing 10% Sarkosyl for 30 min followed by centrifuging at 150,000 g for 30 min. Pellets were re-suspended with 2× loading buffer and separated by 13.5% SDS-PAGE. Gel was stained by Coomassie Blue R250.
