Effect of compound 21 administration on glucose intolerance in KK-Ay mice.

Male KK-Ay mice were treated as described in ‘Methods’. Some KK-Ay mice treated with C21 were concurrently administered GW9662, a PPARγ antagonist. OGTT and ITT were performed after 16 hours and 4 hours of fasting, respectively (n = 8–10 per group). Data are expressed as mean ± SEM. *p<0.01 vs. control; †p<0.01 C21 vs. C21+GW9662.
