CO6-MMP serum levels in BDL-rats.

Serum CO6-MMP was assessed in BDL and sham operated rats at termination. Termination time points were 2 and 4 weeks after surgery. Levels of CO6-MMP were significantly elevated in BDL rats compared to sham levels at both the two-( mean BDL 29.5 ng/mL, mean sham: 14.2 ng/mL, p = 0.0001) and four week mean BDL: 33.0 ng/ml, (mean sham: 11.8 ng/mL, p = 0.0003) termination point.
