Salamander discs are larger with many more incisures. For modeling mouse rod, each disc had a single incisure, H was set to 23.6 μm and (R + σε) was set to 0.7 μm. For salamander, discs had 23 incisures, H was set to 22.4 μm and (R + σε) was set to 5.515 μm.
