<p>Neighbor-joining analyses were conducted with the Jukes and Cantor model using the PHYLIP package [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0223913#pone.0223913.ref068" target="_blank">68</a>]. The sequence of <i>Paenibacillus jamilae</i> CECT 5266T (AJ271157) served as the outgroup. Solid circles indicate that corresponding nodes were also recovered using maximum-likelihood [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0223913#pone.0223913.ref069" target="_blank">69</a>] and maximum-parsimony [<a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0223913#pone.0223913.ref070" target="_blank">70</a>] trees. Bootstrap values (expressed as percentages of 1,000 repetitions) >70% are indicated at each node. Bar, 0.01 substitutions per nucleotide position.</p>
