The pink line minimizes (10) to estimate a PW based on the medians (blue ×). The coefficients are α = 0.79, γ = −8.85, C = 0.17, and β = 0.053. In both scenarios PW(10) = w_m (maximum weight at T = 10) and PW is anchored at PW(70) = 1.
