The positional error of linearly interpolated data.

The table shows the results of reducing sampling rate from 1 sample/s, linearly interpolating to reconstruct the missing values, and comparing against the original data. The results support the assumption that a GPS data sampling rate of 1 sample/s is likely to be more than adequate as a means of establishing sheep positions for this study, and that little would be gained by increasing it.
