SerenoNote: Each version of Sentence 1 (Celebrity, Non-celebrity) can be combined with alternative versions of Sentences 2 and 3 (Interesting, Boring) to yield different stories in the four experimental conditions. The celebrities chosen were of a variety of backgrounds including musicians, movie stars, TV presenters, media tycoons, models, politicians, royalties, footballers, celebrity chefs, etc. Some of them appear as couples and some of them appear on their own in our stimuli.
