Relative frequency of transit time between movements.

as a function of whether the movement was to a new stream. Transit time was calculated as the time elapsed between a downstream (emigration) and upstream (immigration) movement for (A) Arctic grayling and (B) rainbow trout. The black portion of the pie represents the relative proportion that were inter-stream movements (i.e., the white portion represents fish that emigrate from a stream and then immigrated back into the same stream, but were not detected at another site between those two movements).
