Structures of (A) licopyranocoumarin (LPC) and (B) glycyrurol (GCR). (C) NGF-differentiated PC12D cells were treated with various concentrations of LPC or GCR in the presence of 0.3 mM MPP+ for 48 h. Cell viability was evaluated by trypan blue dye exclusion assay. (D) PC12D cells were treated with various concentration of LPC or GCR in the presence of 10 ng/ml taxol or 10 µg/ml cisplatin (CDDP) for 48 h. Values are the means of three independent experiments; bars, s.d. **p<0.01 compared with MPP+ group cells.
