From each dose-response curve, four different derivatives can be calculated to assess TLR-responsiveness: hillslope (maximum steepness of the curve), EC50 (ligand concentration resulting in half-maximum activation), area under the curve (AUC) and the delta (difference between minimum and maximum expression levels).
