The expression level of the akt2 mRNA was assessed by quantitative RT-PCR analysis. The expression levels relative to that in NC siRNA-treated muscle are shown as means ± S.E. (n = 6). *P < 0.001. (b) The expression levels of Akt2 and α-tubulin proteins were assessed by immunoblot analysis.
