The results are expressed as the mean, with error bars representing SEM. CTRL vs. intact group: ## p < 0.01, ### p < 0.001, #### p < 0.0001; CTRL vs. treated groups: ** p < 0.01, *** p < 0.001, **** p < 0.0001.
