B_M subsets (IgD/CD27 classification) were evaluated for changes in frequency (cells/ml) elicited by exposure to wt S. Typhi. Panels A, D, G and J display the time courses of the changes in Sm CD27+, Sm CD27-, Um and Naïve cells, respectively, in TD and NoTD volunteers (blue and brown simbols, respectively). The AroundTD time frame is indicated in panels A, D, G and J by the blue rectangles with dotted lines.
