<p>The non-synonymous/synonymous substitution ratio (Dn/Ds) was calculated for each domain by the comparison between GA1, GA2 and GA5 genotype strains for HRSV-A and between GB3, GB4 and BA HRSV-B isolates. Ratio values >1 are showing selection for variation between prototype (GA1) and contemporary viruses for HRSV-A and between dominant (BA) and contemporary viruses for HRSV-B.</p>
