The Bayesian tree reveals a distinct phylogenetic relationship between Mpr1 in Cryptococcus species and M36 family members in other fungi. An Mpr1 homolog was identified in the closely related basidiomycete Tremella mesenterica, however, Mpr1 clusters separately from the rest of the M36 family. Posterior probability values are shown as node labels. Well supported nodes indicated by a “1” with maximum likelihood bootstrap (BS) support >80.
2018-08-30 17:46:36 prodomain cleavage sites Mpr 1 structure-function analysis Mpr 1 protein Mpr 1 activity M 36 class BBB blood-brain barrier Cryptococcal meningoencephalitis cryptococcal meningoencephalitis-related deaths Mpr 1 metalloprotease determinants CNS
