<p>Microtiter plate was coated with BmCRT and after blocking the remaining protein-binding site with skimmed milk wells were incubated overnight with a HuC1q as mentioned in <a href="http://www.plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0106413#s2" target="_blank">method</a> section. Effect of Ca<sup>+2</sup> on the binding of both proteins was measured at 490 nm. The data are presented as means ± SD; n = 3. ** P<0.01, ***P<0.001.</p>
